Albanian police have uncovered a cache of weapons hidden in a van disguised as a road maintenance vehicle bearing the logo of the company “Gener 2,” parked on Myslym Shyri Street in Tirana.

The owner of the van, Eugert Sino, 34, was arrested. Preliminary investigations suggest that he is linked to the criminal network of Aurel Hoxha, who is wanted by SPAK for murder and money laundering. Sino previously worked as a bartender at Hoxha’s bar, “Monopol.”

Authorities discovered 23 firearms in the van, including 5 sniper rifles, believed to have been trafficked from multiple countries via Kosovo. The weapons were reportedly intended for criminal activities by groups operating in Tirana, Laç, and Burrel.

Investigators report that two additional suspects are at large, and the group’s main base is believed to be near the location where the van was found.
