At the Gjakova Police Station, around 50 election commissioners from Malishevë are being questioned in connection with the manipulation of results from the early parliamentary elections held on December 28.
Police vehicles and officers are present in the station’s yard as part of the ongoing questioning.
Earlier reports by Ekonomia noted that 18 commissioners had already been detained, while questioning of the remaining individuals continues.
The operation is being conducted by the Units for Economic Crimes and Corruption Investigation of Gjakova, which began early this morning.
Last Friday, a similar operation took place in Prizren, where out of 109 detainees, 23 individuals were placed in pre-trial detention.
