The Office of the Chief State Prosecutor announced that for the second round of mayoral elections on November 9, preparations have been completed to ensure the protection of citizens’ free vote and to guarantee the integrity of the electoral process.
“For these elections, around 80 state prosecutors and officials of the prosecutorial system have been engaged. They will serve as supervisors throughout the territory of Kosovo until the conclusion of the electoral process, with the aim of investigating any irregularities that may occur.
The State Prosecutor invites citizens, political parties, institutions, and various organizations to report to the relevant prosecutor’s office any suspected cases of vote manipulation or abuse,” the statement reads.
It is recalled that the second round of mayoral elections will be held this Sunday in 18 municipalities.
