The Kosovo Police have arrested a suspect for involvement in an attack on KFOR members that occurred in May 2023 in Zveqan.
In their 24-hour report, the Kosovo Police provided details about this arrest.
The suspect was on the list of individuals wanted for the attack on KFOR members and Kosovo Police near the municipal building.
The suspect has been arrested and, after being interviewed, has been detained based on the prosecutor’s decision.
“Zveqan, 29.05.2023, NN. During the execution of legal duties at a checkpoint, the police unit stopped a male Kosovo suspect. Verification revealed that he was wanted for the attack on KFOR and police officers near the municipal building. The suspect was arrested and, after being interviewed, was detained based on the prosecutor’s decision,” the statement said.
