A suspect arrested in connection to the bombing attack on the Ibar-Lepenac canal in northern Kosovo has been brought before a court. The individual was apprehended on Sunday evening and was found to be in possession of hand grenades, weapons, and ammunition during a police raid at his home.

Following the arrest, the suspect was placed under 48-hour police detention based on the prosecutor’s order. The suspect, whose identity has not been disclosed, is the latest individual involved in the growing series of violent acts in the region.

Earlier this week, another suspect was sent to pretrial detention, while eight other individuals arrested in connection with the attack were released.
