While Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and his allies prepare for the upcoming meeting with Donald Trump, Russian President Vladimir Putin has reached out to his close supporters.

Earlier today, Putin held phone calls with Belarusian President Alexander Lukashenko and Kazakh President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev to brief them on the Alaska summit with Trump.

According to Lukashenko’s office, Putin discussed the talks “in detail”, while Tokayev congratulated Putin on the “results of the meeting”, calling the summit “progress”, as stated in a declaration from the Kazakh presidency.
