Striker Fisnik Asllani described his participation in Kosovo’s recent national team matches as a unique and exciting experience.
Kosovo secured four crucial points, drawing with Slovenia and then defeating Sweden thanks to Asllani’s decisive goal.
In an interview with Hoffenheim’s official website, Asllani shared his thoughts on the matches:
“I think it was a very good experience with the national team. Very special and exciting. For the entire country, it was a beautiful day, and we are just very happy with how it went.”
Regarding his collaboration with Hoffenheim teammates Albian Hajdari and Leon Avdullahu, he added that their strong familiarity makes communication easy:
“Of course, we know each other very well from the club. It’s very easy for us because we understand each other well. We spend most of our time together at the club, and then we do the same with the national team.”
Asllani is expected to start in Hoffenheim’s upcoming match against St. Paul, and reports suggest he is being scouted by FC Barcelona.
