It has been decided that a session of the Assembly of Kosovo will be held tonight at 19:00, Rks News reports.
The decision to convene the session follows a meeting of the Assembly Presidency, called earlier in the day by Speaker Albulena Haxhiu.
The meeting, which began at 15:00, had only one item on the agenda: the proposal for the establishment of parliamentary committees.
Immediately after the conclusion of the Presidency meeting, members of parliament were notified of the schedule for the plenary session to take place this evening.
According to announcements, another session is expected to be held tomorrow, during which international agreements will be put to a vote.
Meanwhile, earlier today Prime Minister Albin Kurti held the first meeting with his government cabinet, during which several decisions were taken within the framework of the executive agenda.
The Assembly is expected during tonight’s session to move forward with the full constitution of parliamentary bodies and the organization of legislative work going forward.
