Austria has refused to allow the United States to use its airspace for potential military operations against Iran.
A spokesperson for Austria’s Ministry of Defense confirmed the news to the Austrian news agency APA, stating that the US had submitted “multiple” requests for overflights of Austrian territory.
Vienna authorities emphasized that these requests were not approved, reaffirming Austria’s stance on the use of its airspace in sensitive military contexts.
