KFOR has announced a joint exercise carried out by soldiers from Austria, Italy, and Romania, who serve as explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) operators.
KFOR stated that the exercise was conducted in a designated area, in full compliance with established safety and environmental protection procedures.
“This regular activity reflects KFOR’s continued commitment to cooperating with local institutions, strengthening partnerships, and contributing to a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo,” the statement said.

The NATO-led Kosovo Force (KFOR), with explosive ordnance disposal (EOD) operators from Austria, Italy, and Romania assigned to the Joint Logistics Support Group (JLSG) and operating under the coordination of the KFOR Headquarters Joint Engineers (HQ J-Eng), conducted a joint training activity with the MAT Kosovo Training Center at the demolition range in Harilaq / Ariljaçë.
The activity took place in a designated area, in full compliance with established safety and environmental protection procedures.
This regular activity reflects KFOR’s continued commitment to cooperating with local institutions, strengthening partnerships, and contributing to a safe environment for all people living in Kosovo.
KFOR continues to implement its mandate based on United Nations Security Council Resolution 1244 to contribute to a safe and secure environment and ensure freedom of movement for all people living in Kosovo, at all times and in an impartial manner. KFOR works in close coordination with the Kosovo Police and EULEX in their respective roles as security responders.
