A tragic aviation accident occurred today in the Vercelli area, between Crescentino and Livorno Ferraris, in northern Italy, where a small aircraft crashed, claiming the lives of two people.
According to Italian media, the victims are a father and daughter: a 49-year-old pilot and his 18-year-old daughter, who were flying in a small private plane. The aircraft reportedly lost control and crashed rapidly into the ground, bursting into flames.
Firefighters and emergency units immediately arrived at the scene, but unfortunately, the two individuals could not be saved.
On social media, the pilot had posted just a few days earlier a photo with his daughter during a previous flight, captioned: “Me and my beautiful co-pilot” – a post now being widely shared with deep emotion across Italian media.
