Former political prisoner Rizah Xhakli has shared historical events from his time in prison, including the well‑known case of Paraqin.

He recounted in detail how Aziz Kelmendi killed four Yugoslav soldiers inside the military barracks.

“On the night of September 3rd, Aziz was on duty without a rifle — he was guarding his section of the corridor. He took a locked safe, sealed with wax, which contained several valuable and classified items belonging to the platoon officer. Inside, there were also 10 rounds for an automatic rifle.
Aziz broke the lock, took an automatic rifle — a Kalashnikov with a wooden stock — and went to the guard on duty. He pointed the rifle at him, woke him up and said: ‘Give me two magazines of ammunition.’
The guard woke up, tried to resist, and Aziz told him: ‘If you resist, I’ll kill you. Give me the two magazines and you’ll live.’ The guard handed over the magazines, and Aziz took them with him,” Xhakli said in the show n’Demos.

Xhakli also mentioned the names of the four soldiers — two Bosniaks, one Croat, and one Serb — who were killed.

“Aziz entered the first room and began shooting. There he killed Safet Dudaković, Sergjan Simić (a Serb), and Goran Begić (a Croat).
In the room where I was staying, the shooting continued and he killed Nazim Gjenanović, also a Bosniak,” Xhakli added.
