Badovc Lake has been severely polluted by waste following the recent floods that affected the country.
The spokesperson of KRU “Prishtina,” Arjeta Mjeku, said it is alarming to see the level to which society has deteriorated, stressing that the waste originated from human activity, reports Klan Kosova.
“Although this waste arrived as a result of floods and through rivers and streams, it was originally discarded by human hands, and this, unfortunately, reflects the level of our society—without generalizing to everyone,” Mjeku said in an interview with Klan Kosova.
She announced that KRU ‘Prishtina’ will soon organize teams to clean the water source from the accumulated waste.
“We believe it can be cleaned within a week, but the situation is worrying,” she added.
