Vetëvendosje Movement (LVV) MP, Agim Bahtiri, has reacted strongly to the ongoing political situation in Kosovo.
In a Facebook post, Bahtiri declared “enough is enough,” stating that the Assembly has been taken hostage.
“Hostage to spite. Hostage to calculations. Hostage to those who don’t care about the state. Enough! Citizens did not vote for a blockade, but for hope. Not for silence, but for a powerful voice. Not for bargaining, but for statehood,” Bahtiri wrote.
The MP directly addressed other parties that were in opposition in the previous legislature. “Reflect or be held accountable for this historical shame! Is there any greater shame than an Assembly with 100 Albanian deputies that fails to elect its own state institutions?” Bahtiri questioned.
Bahtiri emphasized that Kosovo is not a political toy. “Kosovo is the legacy of our ancestors, who died with open eyes to see the freedom of this land that they washed with blood,” he concluded.
