The Basic Court in Pristina is holding another session today in the “Banjska” case, making it the third hearing this week. Two more witnesses are expected to testify, with one scheduled for 11:30 AM and the other for 1:00 PM.
Yesterday’s session featured the testimony of police officer Mirsad Kryeziu, who provided a detailed account of the attack that killed Sergeant Afrim Bunjaku. Kryeziu described the “extremely high intensity” of the assault, attributing it to a “well-organized military structure.” He recounted the critical events of September 24, with particular emphasis on the efforts to retrieve Afrim Bunjaku from the scene of the attack.
“From my 25 years of police experience and war experience, I know well the type of weaponry and their effect,” Kryeziu stated. “From 2002 until now, I have served only in specialized units and have undergone numerous trainings related to the use and identification of weapons. That’s why I’m saying the weapons were of different calibers.”
The trial is currently proceeding against Blagoje Spasojević, Vladimir Tolić, and Dušan Maksimović. They are only three of the 45 members of the terrorist group, led by Milan Radoičić, who organized and carried out the attack that shocked the country.
