Student protests in Serbia have entered their eighth day, with Aleksandar Vučić’s government showing no signs of backing down. Amidst this unrest, significant developments regarding alleged police brutality and the president’s security detail have emerged.
Opposition Submits List of Police Officers to EU
Srđan Milivojević, leader of the Democratic Party of Serbia, stated that he has submitted a list to the EU containing the names of police officers who, according to him, have violated laws due to brutal interventions during the protests. The opposition MP urged the EU to ban these listed Serbian police officers from entering the 27 European Union member states.
Alleged Banjska Terrorists Among Vučić’s Guards
Meanwhile, an unofficial list is reportedly circulating with the names of nearly 200 individuals who have been providing physical security for Vučić for several months. This list reportedly includes the names of several terrorists who participated in the Banjska aggression and who have been indicted by the Kosovo Special Prosecutor’s Office.
