Alban Rashiti, the police officer from the Special Unit who was wounded during the Banjska attack, has begun his testimony in the ongoing “Banjska” trial. He was injured on the critical day of the incident.
Rashiti stated that he is a police officer in the Rapid Intervention Unit of the Kosovo Police, within the Border Unit, as reported by “Betimi për Drejtësi”. He explained that their duty involves patrolling around the border area, and their unit operates within the border zone due to high-risk situations where they are required to intervene.
