Two cases of suspected counterfeit money were reported in the 24-hour police report on Wednesday, specifically in Graçanicë and Lipjan.
In both cases, the complainants were bank officials.
The incident in Graçanicë was reported to have occurred on Tuesday morning. According to the complainant, approximately €766.50 suspected to be counterfeit was deposited.
Meanwhile, the case in Lipjan reportedly took place on February 15, when a client deposited a €500 banknote that is suspected to be counterfeit.
In both instances, the funds have been seized and the cases are currently under investigation by the relevant authorities.
