KFOR Commander Major General Enrico Barduani hosted the Chief of Defense of Germany, General Carsten Breuer, during an official visit today.
The main topic of discussion was the security situation in Kosovo.
“During the visit, General Barduani presented the current security situation in the region, emphasizing KFOR’s efforts toward a stable Kosovo and the resumption of the EU-facilitated dialogue between Pristina and Belgrade,” the mission’s statement said.
NATO’s mission in Kosovo highlighted that General Breuer praised the longstanding contribution and dedicated commitment of German forces (DEU) to KFOR and regional stability.
KFOR reiterated its ongoing commitment to its mandate — based on the UN Security Council Resolution — to contribute to a safe and secure environment for all people and communities living in Kosovo, as well as to ensure freedom of movement at all times and in an impartial manner.
