KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, visited Podgorica today.
According to a statement from KFOR posted on Facebook, Barduani met with Montenegro’s Minister of Defense, Dragan Krapoviq, and the Chief of the General Staff of the Montenegrin Army, Brigadier General Zoran Lazareviq.
“During the meeting, they discussed security trends in Kosovo and the broader region, emphasizing the importance of cooperation between countries in international organizations and NATO’s role. Major General Enrico Barduani highlighted KFOR’s daily efforts to fulfill its mandate under the UN and support the EU-facilitated dialogue between Belgrade and Pristina,” the statement said.
