On International Children’s Day, the commander of the NATO-led KFOR mission, Major General Enrico Barduani, took part today in the Multicultural Fair for Children.
KFOR stated that General Barduani’s participation in this event shows how KFOR recognizes children as a fundamental resource for Kosovo’s future.
“International Children’s Day is a commemorative day honoring children around the world, celebrated on June 1st. The day originates from the 1925 Geneva Declaration at the World Conference on Child Welfare, aimed at promoting the well-being and rights of children,” their statement reads in part.
