KFOR Commander, Major General Enrico Barduani, met with the Commander of the Iowa National Guard, Major General Stephen Osborn.
According to KFOR, the two generals exchanged views on the situation in Kosovo and the broader region, with a particular focus on recent security developments.
“Major General Barduani also expressed his appreciation to General Osborn for the long-standing contribution of the United States to KFOR, and to peace and stability in the region,” KFOR’s statement said.
Earlier in the day, General Osborn also met with Kosovo President Vjosa Osmani.
