Barduani Meets with U.S. Defense Official, Discusses Prishtina–Belgrade Dialogue

The Commander of KFOR, Major General Enrico Barduani, held a meeting today with David Baker, the U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of Defense for European and NATO Policy, at KFOR Headquarters in Prishtina.

According to a statement from KFOR, the meeting served as an important opportunity to exchange views on the security situation in Kosovo and to discuss the best ways to support a renewed political commitment to the Prishtina–Belgrade dialogue.

“Deputy Assistant Secretary Baker reaffirmed the unwavering commitment of the United States to the KFOR mission in Kosovo, underlining continued support for regional security and stability,” the statement added.

This visit highlights the strong partnership between the U.S. and NATO allies in ensuring peace and fostering dialogue in the Western Balkans.
