The Israeli company based in Haifa, Bazan Group, announced the shutdown of all its refineries.

The decision came after an energy station used to produce steam and power was significantly damaged in an Iranian attack, according to a regulator’s document released Monday, reported by Reuters news agency.

Bazan Group also stated that the Iranian attack resulted in the deaths of three company employees.

Following the surprise Israeli attacks against Iran on Friday, crude oil prices on international markets have sharply increased.

The price movement marked the largest single-day change since the start of the Russian aggression against Ukraine in 2022.
