The President of Albania, Bajram Begaj, spoke about a meeting he had with his Macedonian counterpart, Gordana Siljanovska, during the Brdo-Brijuni Summit.
In a post on platform X, he stated that they accepted strong political cooperation and emphasized that the membership of both countries in NATO further secures regional stability.
“We are confident that the initiative of Corridor VIII will enhance connectivity and economically empower both countries.”
“I also emphasized the importance of the Albanian language, as defined in the Ohrid Agreement, as a cornerstone of our relations,” said Begaj.
