Bekë Berisha, the AAK candidate for Mayor of Pristina, reacted to the protest held in The Hague in support of former Kosovo Liberation Army (KLA) leaders, stating that today the truth was spoken—a truth that cannot be contested or hidden, reports GazetaBlic.
Berisha emphasized that the former KLA leaders did not bow during the war and will not bow today, expressing his belief that these heroes will return to their homes, where they belong.
He highlighted the slogans and flags seen at the protest: “Freedom has a name”, “Justice”, and “Only justice, no politics”, accompanied by the red-and-black Albanian flags carried by demonstrators in support of Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniqi, and Rexhep Selimi.
Berisha concluded:
“They did not bow then, and they will not bow today! These heroes will return to their homes, where they belong. The land knows the truth, and the land never lies. Gratitude to all the Liberators!”
