Sali Berisha, leader of the Democratic Party, complied today with the obligation to appear before a judicial police officer at the Special Anti-Corruption Structure (SPAK). This measure is part of his legal obligation to report.
While signing his attendance, Berisha left a written note on the obligation sheet:
“This is a shameful political act through which the prosecution, in violation of the Constitution, seeks to restrict my freedom of speech. A puppet judge of the Party followed their instructions. I have exposed and will continue to expose the collaboration of Dumani and company with crime as a criminal organization,” Berisha wrote.
This statement underscores Berisha’s accusations of political interference in judicial proceedings, intensifying the ongoing tensions between him and the government.
