Besarta Jashari, the survivor of the Serbian attacks on the Jashari family in Prekaz, dedicated a message for the 27th anniversary of the Kosovo Liberation Army (UÇK).
She shared that, before the formation of the UÇK, the commitment to Kosovo’s freedom and independence had begun to fade, and there was no hope, only desire. She expressed that the Kosovo Liberation Army’s epic represents the dawn of a new era for the entire Albanian nation.
“Let us honor the sacrifice of martyrs, war veterans, and every UÇK soldier—by uniting to make our country as Adem and Hamëz Jashari dreamed of,” Besarta said, concluding her message with a heartfelt wish: “May God bless the Albanian nation.”
