The head of the Parliamentary Group of the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo (AAK), Besnik Tahiri, held a meeting with the parliamentary group “Progress Block,” led by group leader Raed Rabaa Al-Dahraawi, in the presence of the Deputy Speaker of the Jordanian Parliament, Dr. Mustafa Al-Khashawna.
“During the meeting, I emphasized that over 85 countries worldwide are seeking an ideal model for local governance reforms, highlighting that there is no one-size-fits-all model for a ‘decentralized’ system, and that the context of each country plays a significant role,” Tahiri informed.
“Unlike many countries where decentralization was imposed as a political necessity, in Jordan, this process stems from needs and is evolving through extensive discussions and consultations. In conclusion, I emphasized that governance reforms or decentralization are not a one-time act or decision, but rather a long-term and challenging process,” he added.
