U.S. President Joe Biden has announced that Lebanon and Israel have agreed to end the conflict between them.
In a Facebook post, Biden said he had spoken with the Prime Minister of Lebanon and the Prime Minister of Israel.
“Today, I have good news to report from the Middle East. I spoke with the Prime Ministers of Lebanon and Israel,” Biden wrote.
“And I’m pleased to inform you: they have accepted the U.S. proposal to end the destructive conflict between Israel and Hezbollah,” Biden said.
