“With the Albanian MP Shaip Kamberi, the Mayor of the Municipality of Preševo, Ardita Sinani, and the head of the Albanian National Council, Enkel Rexhepi, we discussed the current situation in the Preševo Valley and Sandžak and Serbia’s discriminatory approach toward Albanians,” Bislimi said.

He added that the protection of Albanian identity and culture there is a national necessity. “The government of the Republic of Kosovo will continue to support Albanians in the Preševo Valley and Sandžak through financial support to preserve national culture and identity, as well as lobbying to raise international awareness regarding the discriminatory policies that Albanians in Serbia face,” Bislimi concluded.
