Four serious incidents were reported on Tuesday in Albania, including three murders and a TNT explosion, all occurring within a few hours.

  • In Shkodër, around midday, 38-year-old E. B., an employee in the tax administration, was injured when explosives were placed on his vehicle. The device detonated as he started the car. The police are investigating the circumstances and possible motives.
  • In Durrës, 25-year-old M. K. stabbed his father, P. K., to death following an alleged sudden argument. The suspect has been arrested.
  • In Tirana, in the Komuna e Parisit area, 34-year-old I. I., a waiter, was fatally stabbed by his colleague, F. Sh., a chef at the same establishment. Preliminary reports suggest the killing occurred after a work-related dispute.
  • In Berat, after a minor quarrel, 63-year-old K. M. (also known as K. H.) fatally attacked 42-year-old K. H. with a sharp object, resulting in the victim’s death.
