Just before the 26th consecutive session for the constitution of the Kosovo Assembly, Vetëvendosje MP Saranda Bogujevci stated that the current situation in the country is not only the government’s responsibility but also that of the opposition, which she described as equally elected by the citizens.
“The question should also be asked of the opposition; they were also voted in, and they have responsibility. It is a shared responsibility. When it comes to a coalition government, that is another matter,” she said.
Bogujevci also commented on the debates regarding voting procedures in the Assembly, emphasizing that there is no legal restriction on switching from secret to open voting.
“There is nowhere that says switching voting from secret to open is not allowed. The rules say voting can be done in a secret or open manner,” explained the Vetëvendosje deputy.
Her statements come amid heated discussions in the Assembly about the voting method on specific issues and the opposition’s role in institutional crises.
