Twelve schools in various German cities received emails threatening bomb attacks, prompting police to inspect the school premises.

According to Bild, the bomb threats turned out to be false.

The Lower Saxony Police Department reported that schools in Hanover, Erfurt, and Leipzig were affected by the threats. In the town of Stuhr near Bremen, activities were canceled due to the threat.

Currently, the Bremen police, assisted by trained dogs, are inspecting all areas of the Lisa Meitner school. Access to the school’s premises was strictly prohibited.

According to various police agencies, all the threats were sent via email.

To coordinate the search for the sender, the criminal police departments have set up a cooperation network, said a representative of the Hanover police.
