Travelers planning to cross Kosovo’s border checkpoints today should consider potential wait times, particularly at some of the busiest crossings.
According to data from the National Center for Border Management:
- Merdar: Vehicles face 20–30 minutes waiting to enter and 3–5 minutes to exit. Additionally, a 50-meter queue has been reported on the exit side.
- Bërnjak: Conditions are much smoother, with only 3–5 minutes wait for both entry and exit. No queues have been reported.
- Jarinjë: Entry waits range from 20–30 minutes, while exit waits are 10–15 minutes. No queues have been reported in either direction.
- Dheu i Bardhë: Vehicles leaving Kosovo face up to 30 minutes of waiting, while entry times remain low at 3–5 minutes.
Travelers are advised to plan accordingly and anticipate longer processing times at the more congested crossings.
