The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine released a detailed map showing the path of an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that allegedly crossed the Ukrainian border twice from Hungarian territory. The drone flew over the Zakarpattia region at varying altitudes, raising concerns over national security.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky described the border violation as a “dangerous provocation”, calling for an immediate investigation. He stressed the importance of safeguarding Ukraine’s territorial integrity and highlighted the need for international support in defending the country’s borders.
Hungarian authorities denied any involvement, accusing Ukraine of spreading unfounded claims.
“President Zelensky is losing his mind due to his anti-Hungarian obsession. Now he is starting to see things that simply do not exist,” declared Hungarian Foreign Minister Peter Szijjarto.
Relations between Ukraine and Hungary are already strained due to political and historical disputes, and this incident risks further escalating diplomatic tensions.
