As reported by N1, bottles and stones were thrown from the direction of Pioneer Park, signaling an escalation in the protests in Serbia. The situation intensified as student organizers, known as “red guards,” removed their vests, and it became clear that the protests were no longer strictly student-led.

A loud noise, resembling a cannon shot, was heard from Pioneer Park, followed by the throwing of bottles and stones. The Faculty of Dramatic Arts, which had been supporting the protests, issued a statement urging everyone to leave the area around the Serbian Parliament, citing the loss of control over the protests.

The Faculty of Organizational Sciences also declared that the protest was no longer a student movement.

A heavy police presence was noted in front of the Serbian Parliament as tensions mounted between protesters and authorities.
