Today, the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo welcomed British Ambassador Jonathan Hargreaves for a formal visit.
CEC Chair Kreshnik Radoniqi initially met with Ambassador Hargreaves in his office before escorting him through the CEC’s operational premises and the control and results room.
In a statement, the CEC noted that Radoniqi thanked the ambassador for the UK government’s ongoing support, particularly in developing new software for transmitting results and statistics from polling stations, as well as for improving processes in the Control Center and the Counting and Results Center.
Ambassador Hargreaves, in turn, wished for a smooth and well-organized election process, praising the CEC staff for their dedication and professionalism in organizing the elections.
