Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić met with Russian Ambassador Aleksandar Botsan-Kharchenko, with whom they agreed to jointly mark the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the liberation of Belgrade.
“A very good meeting with the ambassador of the Russian Federation Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko. We agreed to celebrate together the 80th anniversary of the victory over fascism and the liberation of Belgrade. We discussed topics of common interest, especially in areas such as trade, culture and regional security”, wrote Vuçiqi on Instagram.
He added that he reiterated his gratitude to the Russian Federation for its diplomatic support to Serbia in the international arena in matters of fundamental importance to our country.
“We exchanged views on the current situation in the country and the region, and I reiterated Serbia’s consistent position that it defends dialogue and diplomatic means in resolving disputes in international relations, as well as that Serbia is ready to participate in all initiatives aimed at peace and stability”, claimed Vucic.
