Bulgarian President Rumen Radev warned that the “Serbian World” project, a rebranded version of the Greater Serbia initiative, poses a serious security risk to the Western Balkans and urged all European institutions to treat it with urgency.

Speaking to BGNES, Radev emphasized: “The Western Balkans are a critical point for security, and the entire attention of the European Union is focused there. I believe it is high time all European institutions take this issue much more seriously. It is an extremely sensitive matter for us as well.”

The project aims to expand Serbian control over neighboring countries, including parts of Bosnia, Croatia, Montenegro, Kosovo, and North Macedonia, using the Serbian Orthodox Church as a key instrument.
