Thirty passengers were injured after a bus from Kosovo, en route to Munich, collided with a truck overnight.
According to German media, the bus was carrying around 50 passengers at the time of the accident. Two of the injured are reported to be in serious condition.
The incident occurred on a highway near Rosenheim, which was completely closed towards Munich for approximately two hours.
The truck, driven by a 46-year-old Polish man transporting vegetables, was also traveling towards Munich.
“The bus collided with the rear of the trailer despite evasive maneuvers. The front of the bus mounted onto the truck and sustained significant damage, and the trailer was also severely damaged,” reported local media.
Police confirmed that 30 people were injured in the crash. Two passengers were hospitalized, while four others were transferred to clinics for further evaluation.
