The village of Hamil in Fier has inaugurated a bust dedicated to the national hero Adem Jashari.
Speaking about the event, Alban Hebeja, a representative of the village, shared details during an interview on Klan Kosova radio.
Hebeja stated that the initiative to erect the bust arose spontaneously and was made possible through the joint efforts of the village residents and the Albanian diaspora.
“The idea of erecting a bust of Adem Jashari came spontaneously, especially considering that the village of Hamil hosted a refugee camp between Hamil and Seman. During that period, we welcomed families from Dardania into our homes and preserved very beautiful memories that left a deep impression on us. Many young people attended the event, as well as journalists,” he said.
The inauguration ceremony was attended by local youth and members of the media, including journalist Marin Mema.
