Eugen Cakolli from the Democratic Institute of Kosovo criticized the Democratic League of Kosovo (LDK) for impeding the formation of a new government following Lumir Abdixhiku’s refusal to meet with Vetëvendosje leader Albin Kurti. Cakolli argued that while it is legitimate to distance oneself from past conflicts, LDK’s refusal to engage with both the ruling party and opposition prevents any potential cooperation, turning it into a form of political self-isolation. He emphasized that this position blocks progress rather than providing a solution.
