Today, a businessman, around 70 years old, lost control of his Toyota Yaris and ended up in the Battaglia Canal near Padua. Two passersby, including 32-year-old Albanian Elton Zefi, immediately jumped into the water to provide assistance.
Zefi broke the window of the submerged vehicle and, with the help of another person, pulled the businessman out of the car. Despite the water temperature being only 5 degrees Celsius, the rescue operation was successfully completed, reports Euronews Albania.
The businessman emerged conscious and thanked the rescuers, and his health condition is reported to be good.
