The caretaker Government of Kosovo is expected to hold a meeting today, chaired by Prime Minister Albin Kurti, with the session scheduled to begin at 11:00 AM.

Nearly six months have passed since the regular parliamentary elections held on February 9, yet the country still lacks a constituted Assembly and a newly formed government.

On June 26, the Constitutional Court granted the deputies a 30-day deadline to convene and constitute the Assembly. However, that process failed to conclude within the prescribed timeframe.

Currently, Members of Parliament are barred from taking any further steps toward constituting the Assembly until August 8, according to the Constitutional Court’s decision dated July 24.
