As part of the preparations for organizing the Local Elections for Mayors and Municipal Assemblies, the Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that voter registration for persons with special needs will begin on September 7, 2025, and end on October 7, 2025.
This process aims to ensure the participation of persons with special needs in the elections, through the deployment of mobile teams in each municipality of the Republic of Kosovo. These teams will also be present on election day, October 12, 2025.
To facilitate the registration of these voters, the CEC will cooperate with relevant institutions and will use an electronic platform to carry out the process.
The category of voters with special needs includes three main groups, all of whom are to be registered within the September 7 – October 7 timeframe.
