CEC Begins Counting Final 3,000 Postal Ballots Arriving in Kosovo

The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kosovo has announced that the counting of the final batch of postal votes has begun. Over 3,000 ballots, which arrived in Kosovo today, are being processed at the Counting and Results Center.

According to CEC spokesperson Valmir Elezi, counting started at around 20:00 local time. He emphasized that once these votes are counted, the entire vote-counting process for the early parliamentary elections held on December 28, 2025, will be complete.

Elezi also reminded political parties of their legal right to appeal any irregularities to the Election Complaints and Appeals Panel (PZAP). Under the law, parties have 48 hours from the occurrence of a suspected violation to submit complaints regarding the administration of the count.
