CEC: Counting of Votes for Candidates in 5 Municipalities Completed

The Central Election Commission (CEC) has announced that the counting of votes for candidates has been completed in five municipalities, while the process continues in 29 others. On Friday afternoon, the CEC announced that the counting of votes for parliamentary candidates had been completed in the municipalities of Han i Elezit, Shtërpce, Partesh, Ranillug, and Junik.

According to the CEC, the vote counting process for parliamentary candidates is still ongoing at the Municipal Counting Centers in various municipalities across Kosovo.

The CEC further announced that the vote counting process for candidates had also begun in the Municipal Counting Centers in the following municipalities: Dragash, Istog, Rahovec, Peja, Podujevo, Kline, Malisheve, and Gracanica.

The vote counting in the municipalities began on these dates:

• February 11, 2025 – Pristina, Lipjan, Obiliq, and Partesh;

• February 12, 2025 – Decan, Gjakova, Drenas, Gjilan, Fushe Kosova, Kamenica, South Mitrovica, Skenderaj, Shtërpce, Viti, Ranillug, Kllokot, North Mitrovica, and Han i Elezit;

• February 13, 2025 – Suhareka, Ferizaj, Vushtrri, Kacanik, Novobërdë, Prizren, Shtime, and Junik.

In the Municipal Counting Centers of Leposaviq, Zveçan, Zubin Potok, and Mamushë, counting has not yet started, but an announcement will be made in due time.
