The Central Election Commission (CEC) has decided to recount the votes for political entities in 50 polling stations at the Center for Counting and Results. Of these, 15 belong to various municipalities, while the remaining 35 are from the municipality of Vushtrri.

Additionally, according to another decision, the CEC decided to fully recount the votes for all political entities and candidates from the 35 polling stations in Vushtrri.

“For the verification of some ballot boxes, 15 polling stations were identified where there was a discrepancy in signatures. It is recommended that these 15 polling stations undergo a full recount for all political entities. Another recommendation is based on the report we received for the results of the LDK candidates from the polling stations in Vushtrri, and this report highlights the differences in results. The 35 polling stations where there is a noticeable difference among candidates will undergo a full recount for all political entities and candidates,” said Arianit Elshani, according to EO.

The Director of the Office for Registration, Certification, and Financial Control of Political Entities, Besnik Buzhala, stated that the Secretariat is ready to begin the recount of these polling stations.
