CEC Holds Next Meeting on Local Elections Preparations

The Central Election Commission (CEC) will hold its next meeting today, ahead of the local elections scheduled for October 12.

One of the main items on the agenda is the review and approval of the Counting and Results Center (CRC) Procedure, a key step in the technical preparations to ensure the smooth running of the electoral process.

Below is the full agenda for today’s CEC meeting:

  1. Opening remarks: Mr. Kreshnik Radoniqi, Chair of the CEC meeting
  2. Review and approval of the minutes from meetings No. 61 and 62/2025
  3. Office activities:
    • 3.1 Recommendation for non-accreditation of several NGOs that applied for accreditation in the 2025 Local Elections
  4. CEC Councils:
    • 4.1 Council for Electoral Operations
      • 4.1.1 Review and approval of the CRC Procedure for the 2025 Local Elections
      • 4.1.2 Review and approval of the request from the Municipal Election Commission regarding the change of the Municipal Counting Center
  5. Miscellaneous

The meeting is part of the CEC’s ongoing efforts to finalize the technical and procedural framework for conducting fair and transparent elections across Kosovo’s municipalities.
